Color Maker

Color Maker was created to address the need to transform one of the most frequent and delicate tasks in the salon—color preparation—into a precise, controlled, and repeatable process.

Developed for Telier, a startup operating in the professional beauty sector, the project involved the creation of a completely new platform capable of integrating automation, dosing precision, and user experience into a single system.

PQ Design Group led the development of the entire system, coordinating industrial design, product development, electronics design, firmware development, and software development through its network of specialized technology partners.

The project required close integration between hardware, mechanical components, dosing systems, control electronics, and the user interface, with the goal of creating a reliable, precise platform ready for daily professional use.

In addition to the technological aspects, a significant portion of the development focused on user interaction, maintenance, and integrating the system into the salon’s workflow. The goal was to make complex technology easy to use on a daily basis.

The result is a professional platform that combines automation, precision, and perceived quality, helping to make the color-matching process more efficient, repeatable, and reliable over time.
