Designing a physical interface for digital gaming experiences.

Teburu is a modular hardware system designed to connect physical board game components with digital platforms. The goal of the project was to translate a complex technological infrastructure into dedicated devices capable of operating seamlessly within tabletop settings and supporting real-time interaction between physical and digital elements.

Particular attention was paid to system integration, structural robustness, and manufacturability, ensuring that the hardware could withstand repeated use over time. The project demonstrates how advanced electronic systems can be integrated into compact product architectures without compromising clarity, durability, and functional performance.

1. Product Vision

The project required the translation of a complex technological infrastructure into a cohesive hardware solution capable of operating seamlessly in tabletop environments while maintaining functional clarity and design consistency.

2. Phygital design

The design focused on enabling reliable communication between physical components and digital systems through technologies integrated into compact and durable architectures.

3. Industrial scalability

The development process prioritized structural stability, material selection, and manufacturability to ensure durability and consistent performance over time.
