ThermalGlass is a wearable device designed to integrate thermal imaging and augmented reality into a compact, ergonomic, and fully hands-free platform.
Developed in collaboration with Holoindustry, the project arose from the need to transform advanced technology into a product that is more balanced, proportionate, and consistent with the level of innovation perceived by the end customer.
The design challenge involved not only technological integration but also the development of a formal language capable of making the device more credible, harmonious, and usable in the real world.
PQ Design Group worked on the industrial design and product development, focusing on proportions, the device's architecture, ergonomics, and the integration of internal components.
The project required balancing hardware integration, weight distribution, heat dissipation, structural strength, and comfort during prolonged use all at the same time.
The result is a compact and distinctive wearable device, designed for professional and industrial applications where technology, usability, and product perception must come together in a coherent way.
